Instructors of Polska Przystań

Eva Kapelinska
Despite living in Florida for over 20 years, I continue to incorporate Polish traditions and culture into my everyday life with my family. I studied at the University of Florida and finished a degree in Interior Design. As for my work, I continue in the field of Interior design, along with real estate and property management.
Outside of my work, I am inspired by art, design, and creative expression. I am motivated by running, swimming, and traveling. I hope to get my students in Polska Przystań enthusiastic about the Polish language and culture because I believe that learning Polish is not only about studying, but it's also a beautiful adventure in which we build ties with our roots.

Hi! My name is Magda Stopyra, and I am a mom of two kids. I have a son, Teo (7), and a daughter, Mia (11). Two years ago, I moved from Chicago to Florida. I wanted my children to have contact with other kids who spoke Polish and contact with the language in general. That's how I found Polska Przystań. I really enjoy working with younger kids. I see myself as a creative person, as I have always been passionate about art projects. I like to spend my free time with my family, ideally at the beach.

Since moving from the very heart of Greater Poland to sunny Naples many years ago, my family and I continue to nurture our roots. I studied Philology in Poland and early education in the United States. My passions include linguistics and understanding how language develops in children. I have taught in Polska Przystań since its establishment, helping the youth discover our Polish language, culture, and traditions, which make up our Polish identity. I believe that being a Pole is not really about the place you were born in, but about the heart's connection to that culture, which is something worth nurturing. It doesn't matter where you live, especially since on this ocean of life, we can be swept by its waves and end up far from our motherland.
